Clifford Ernest Windham “Cliff” died peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 9, 2017 in Lago Vista, Texas losing his battle with cancer.



Family will be receiving friends on Friday, September 15, 2017 for a visitation from 6 – 8 pm at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home of Jasper, AL. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 16, 2017, at 11:00 am at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Burial at Mackey Boshell Cemetery.

Clifford Ernest Windham “Cliff” died peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 9, 2017 in Lago Vista, Texas losing his battle with cancer.

He was a 35 year resident of Texas. He was born in Jasper, Alabama on August 16, 1932 to the late James Carl and Della Windham. Cliff served 4 years in the United States Air Force, and upon discharge entered the tire and automotive industry where he spent his career. He worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 2 years before joining Firestone Tire and Rubber Company and the GCR Group from which he retired in January 1996 after 40 years of service. Cliff also owned two tire and automotive business in Texas after retiring from Bridgestone/Firestone. He was an active member of Travis Peak Church of Christ in Marble Falls, TX.



He leaves behind the love of his life, his wife, Joyce Annette Williams Windham. They married January 14, 1956 and enjoyed 61 years together. In addition to Joyce, Cliff is survived by daughter, Teri Windham Knight (Paul) of Lago Vista TX; daughter, Vicky Jo Windham of Leander, TX; son, Bryan Windham (Laura) of Corpus Christi, TX; and son, Mark Windham of Lago Vista, TX. Cliff was blessed with 5 grandchildren: Eric Knight (preceding him in death in 2011), Matthew Knight, Cameron Knight, Andrew Knight, and Kayla Park. He leaves behind 3 precious great grandchildren: Isabelle Knight, Aiden Knight and Evan Knight. He is survived by sisters Maxine Winn and Bobbie Williams Daily, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death sister Willodean Burton. Our Lord and Cliff’s family were most precious to him and treasured above all else. He enjoyed the friendship of so many and remarked often of how blessed he was.



Casual dress is appropriate. Cliff was a huge University of Alabama fan, so your Alabama attire would be welcomed!
