Oma Jean O’Rear Wade, 87, passed away Monday, May 8, 2017, at her home in Jasper. She was born on Nov. 7, 1929, and lived in Jasper most all of her life. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 11, 2017, from 2 until 3 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 11, 2017, at 3 p.m. in the Kilgore-Green Chapel. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. John Warren will officiate. She was preceded in death by her parents, Basil O’Rear and Thelma Kemp O’Rear; and her only sister, Sallie...

Oma Jean O’Rear Wade, 87, passed away Monday, May 8, 2017, at her home in Jasper. She was born on Nov. 7, 1929, and lived in Jasper most all of her life. Wade is survived by her husband of 71 years, Roy E. Wade of Jasper; daughters, Teresa Wade Thomason of Blairsville, Ga. and Paulette Wade Clouse (Richard) of Jasper; sons, Ronnie E. Wade (Carlene) of Rainsville and Tim Wade (Kim) of Milton, Fla.; five grandchildren, Charles Brickey Jr. (Melissa) of Marettia, Ga., Candace Mosher (Brad) of Demorest, Ga., Braxton E. Wade (Cortney) of Birmingham, Nicholas 0. Wade (Carolyn) of Huntsville, and Justen Wade of Jasper; five great-grandchildren, Benjamin Brickey, Gabriel Mosher, Lincoln Mosher, Ethan Wade and Austin Wade; and one brother, R.D. O’Rear. She will be greatly missed by all.
